In order to integrate POINT3 as a TA, participants are required to obtain a minimum of 21 hours of TESL theory on the following topics:
Overview of teaching methods
Theories of Second language acquisition
Learning styles and strategies
Planning lessons and courses
Designing Classroom activities
Teaching Reading and Listening
Teaching Speaking including pronunciation
Teaching Grammar & writing
Teaching and activating vocabulary
Assessment in language teaching
