TRANSPORTATION
Public transportation in and around the Montréal area is an excellent way to get around. City bus and metro passes are about $70/month. Weekly passes are also available for those in Montreal less than one full month. More information at STM.
Major city centers such as New York, Boston, Ottawa, Niagara Falls, Québec City and Toronto are relatively close to Montréal and can be visited on weekend trips.
