Academic Writing
This course is specially designed to provide intermediate and advanced level students with the writing skills needed for academic purposes.
This course helps develop the writing skills needed for academic purposes. Based on product and process writing approaches, this program enables you to notice the structure and the features of academic texts as well as to help you produce coherent and cohesive assignments with the style required at the university level. The participant’s level of language as well as his / her needs will be evaluated at the start of the course. Following this assessment, the instructor will design a personalized program.
42-hour program – 21 hours of private instruction
21 hours of self-study/homework
7 weeks (intensive) or 14 weeks
Entry requirements: Intermediate level
Students must pass a grammar and a writing skills test
